Is to build an excellence center for sports, education and skills for the youth to help them realize their dreams and give them a brighter future. This center for Excellence is set to be a state of the art football facility in The Gambia.
2 professional- style, lighted fields, field turf and grass turf that will ensure no matter what the weather conditions are, day or night a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere for football enjoyment.
The facility will provide all players – from beginners to highly skilled – the right environment for recreational yet competitive football.
The center will be an exciting learning experience that aims at providing a suitable environment for young players to develop their skills on and off the pitch, using a well-developed learning curriculum.
Because Academic succes and athletic achievement ar on an equal footing in the center, an academic program will run corresponding to the football program.
The Academy will allow 200 kids from the ages 14-18 to board in quality accommodation and carry out their studies in well-equipped classrooms under the tutelage of qualified teaching professionals.
The Academy will provide a safe learning environment for the players and innovative education courses in English, French, Mathematics and also computing.
The TMT Sports center for Excellence is a school of football and we want all our graduates to be well-rounded athletes with a formal education to help further their careers as they prepare to move into adulthood.
In addition, skill clinics are available for beginning adults and those wishing to polish their skills.The 2 fields can also be rented for practices for the Gambian League and preseason tournaments.
The facility will also have a small cafe that will serve drinks, sandwiches and pastry.
TMT Sports center for Excellence projects that the center will have more than 1.000 members, 30 adult teams and 30 youth teams by the end of year one.
And we already started building … on a 4 hectare piece of land 20 minutes from the Banjul Airport we fenced already 100 square meters of land and build some small facilities for the care keeper.
